Tucked away on quieter, chicer Rue Marceau away from the unpredictable brashness of the Crosiette comes a glamorous Italian hideaway that puts a modern French spin on an truly delicious trattoria. In the tradition of La Dolce Vita, Casa Mia is situated just off the Croisette offering its own staircase arrival to a cozy maisonette concealing a truly glamorous two-level eatery from the same designers as Paris’s L’Arc and London’s Maddox Club. A grand dining room is lined in blush striped-walls that open to a main courtyard terrace ideal for summer evening. The building is intersected by a central staircase with showy chandelier that lights the way to an upstairs lounge with onyx bar and metal-trimmed aviator chairs oozing an Italian deco vibe.

The Food

Not simply about fashionable people and a great bar scene, Casa Mia has perfected its Italian menu in a relatively short time. Credit must be given to the kitchen where you’ll find alum from Harry’s Bar in Venice cooking up appetizers like calamari sautéed with tomatoes and olives, Casa Mia tagliolini with Alba truffles and grilled langoustines that are the best in Cannes.
